Mozart Open – Aqeel Rehman keeps home hopes alive

The spectators at EUROPARK Salzburg shopping mall saw some very exciting and close matches. It was a brilliant advertisement for the sport with all athletes showing great effort and performances. Only two matches were decided in three games.

The most interesting match for the crowd was the last one of the evening between local hero Aqeel Rehman und Laszlo Godde. It was a full stand and great athmosphere that pushed Austria’s number one massively, who paid back with a 3/1 victory.

Over all all top 4 seeded players went through into the quarterfinal which will start on Thurday at 15:30.
